Studio Frewb

Hello! I’m Charlotte – the artist, creator and award-winning pun enthusiast behind Studio Frewb. I love nothing more than making people smile, so I create bright, colourful and fruity artwork with a cheeky twist.

Filled to the brim with love, saturated watercolours, and some sensationally silly puns, my artwork features unique vintage-style paintings – from lemons to lobsters and everything in between. Every piece I create starts as a hand-illustrated original, delicately painted in my home studio here in Keyworth using my favourite tin of watercolours.

It is then lovingly printed in the UK using high-quality, recycled and recyclable materials. Oh, and I never use plastic – my cards are as naked as the day they were created! Even the cellulose packets that keep my prints safe are 100% biodegradable.

Karen is one of over 40 amazing local makers you can meet at this year’s Keyworth Show on 4th July 2026. Here’s what inspired her business:

I started my business in lockdown two 2020 as I couldn’t find home fragrance that fitted my criteria, everything was covered in plastic and full of paraffin wax which isn’t good environmentally or personal health wise!

I wanted to create home fragrance that was cruelty free for animals, humans and the environment, that promoted relaxation and self care hence why I use mostly essential oils and handmake everything myself so I know what goes into every product I sell and also use myself.
